Service 01 · Air duct cleaning
Your return ducts pull air out of every room, through the filter, past the blower, and back out again — thousands of times a day. Anything the filter misses ends up coated on the inside of that metal. Drywall dust from a renovation, pet dander, construction debris left in the trunk lines from the day the house was built. Cleaning it is a mechanical job, not a spray-and-pray job — and it either gets done properly or it doesn't get done at all.

A negative-pressure vacuum connects directly to the trunk line and every register gets sealed. The entire system is put under suction in one direction, so debris has nowhere to go but into the machine.
This is the part most companies skip. Rotating brush and compressed-air whip fed down each branch, one at a time. Vacuuming a trunk line without agitating the branches moves almost nothing.
Where the heaviest buildup usually sits, and where it most affects how your system runs. Furnace cleaning and the air conditioning coil housing are part of a whole-house job — cleaning ductwork and ignoring them is half a job.

If we camera your ducts and they're already clean, we'll tell you. In a lot of houses the better spend is a higher-grade filter and sealing a leaky return, not a full cleaning. Duct sanitizing, disinfecting and deodorizing are all optional add-ons — we'll only do it if you specifically ask for it, and we'll be honest that most homes don't need it.
Service 02 · Dryer vent cleaning
Every load pushes lint down the duct behind your dryer. On a short straight run most of it makes it outside. On the long runs common in DMV townhomes and colonials — up through two floors, out a roof cap, or thirty feet across a basement ceiling — it doesn't. It packs into the bends and sits against a heat source. The U.S. Fire Administration lists failure to clean as the leading cause of clothes dryer fires. The good news is that it's a one-hour job, once a year.
We trace where the duct actually goes and how long it is. A twelve-foot basement run and a thirty-foot run to a roof cap are different jobs, and you'll know which one you have before we start.
Machine moved out, transition hose off, and we check that hose too — crushed or kinked foil behind the dryer is one of the most common problems we find.
A powered brush on flexible rods driven through the duct while a vacuum captures what comes loose. Working from both the inside and the exterior termination is what clears the bends, where the packing actually happens.
The exterior cap gets cleared by hand and we make sure the flap swings freely. A blocked or seized damper undoes the whole job within a few months.
We measure it so the improvement is a number, not an opinion. Then the dryer goes back, the connection is re-sealed, and we run a cycle to confirm it's venting properly.
Flexible foil and white vinyl ducting traps lint no matter how often it's cleaned, and it's no longer code in most of the DMV. Get one number before anyone is dispatched, and get it in a text so it exists in writing.
The work is finished, the equipment is packed up, and suddenly the invoice has line items on it nobody mentioned. By then you have very little leverage.
We never do work without full approval and an explanation of what's needed and — most importantly — why. You approve the scope and the price up front, with the tech standing there.
If they can't show you the inside of the duct, you have no way of knowing whether the work was done at all.

Honestly: it depends. If your ducts are visibly loaded with dust and debris, most people notice a difference within a week. If your ducts are already fairly clean, the bigger win is usually a filter upgrade — and we'll tell you that instead of taking your money.
Dryer vents every year, without exception — that's a fire-safety item, not a comfort item. Air ducts every 3–5 years for most homes, sooner if you've had renovations, pets, or a new HVAC install.
